Mark Cooke founded Cooke Carpentry & Construction, LLC after spending his entire carpentry career working for two of the most premier general contractors/builders in the Philadelphia Main Line area.  During that time he had the opportunity to rise from Carpenter’s Assistant to Carpenter, then Lead Carpenter and eventually Project Supervisor. 

Mark was born and raised in Ridley Park, PA, attending Ridley High School where he found his passion for carpentry and construction through an introductory woodworking course. 

His passion for carpentry never subsided during his high school and college career, and while working towards his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management & Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University, Mark continued to refine his carpentry skills.

After graduating from Penn State, Mark spent a brief time on the analytical side of construction, working for an energy consultant, but his desire to become a carpenter surfaced again, and he left the corporate environment, never to look back again.

Today, Mark run’s both the production and operational side of the business, splitting his time between carpentry and construction, as well as meeting with potential clients and estimating new jobs.

Mark enjoys all aspects of custom remodeling, but he specifically likes meeting new and potential clients as well as producing fine, detail-oriented custom carpentry projects.

A resident of Douglassville, PA, Mark lives with his wife Jenn, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends and exploring new restaurants.
